* I have been married for 30+ years
(in a row!) and have 2 adult children.
* I have lived locally since 1983. Before opening my child-care, I worked in the insurance industry (6
years) and also the public-school system as a cafeteria & yard-duty aide (2 years).
* I attend New Life Nazarene, and taught Pre-K Sunday School (2 years) and Sr. High teens (1 year).
* I sponsored a weekly High School activity club for 2 years
and hosted foreign exchange students for 2 summers. I was also a court-appointed week-end visitation monitor (1 year).
* I LOVE sunflowers, l-o-n-g Sunday naps, eclectic-country style decorating, garage sales, whimsical sayings, and the color green!

Basic Information: - I operate
a licensed family day care facility out of my home in Lancaster, CA, a quiet country suburb north of Los Angeles.
- I began providing Care for non-family members in 1991.
My license number is: 197409426. I am CPR, fire department, Licensing and nutrition-program inspected and compliant.
- I don't "hire out"; my daughter & my
husband are my helpers, mostly afternoons & vacation breaks (staff pic, left) .
- I occasionally team up with my friends (fellow licensees) for field
trips, activities, and fellowship. All of us are fingerprinted and cleared.
